Welcome to my Web Blog! Here is where I will be posting my weekly
thoughts and updates on nutrition, lifestyle, and
exercise!

Thank you for coming to my Blog. First I would like to
announce my new radio show "I Heart Organic: SF", the first
date of my show being October 7th @10AM-1030AM on KUSF, FM 90.3.
This is very exciting news because this allows me a chance to make a
huge difference to the SF community. It has been one of my
primary missions and goal in life to change the community or society
if you will for the better. I have thought of doing this by
counseling individuals to become healthy and happy, giving lectures,
and using the media. Now I can have my own radio show to
invite various guests who can voice and make a change in the Organic
Movement and the movement of health and happiness. Please stay
tuned as this website will be used for the questions section of the
"I Heart Organic: SF" radio show.
www.iheartorganic.com
will not be up until the end of this year, but I will be happy and
very excited when this is up. I plan on making this website a
forum for people to ask questions on health and have a members
section for a ratings and resource center for Organic (by organic I
mean real organic not USDA organic) foods in SF and the surrounding
bay area.
For now I would like to share with you the quote of my day "In this
day and age, the greatest devotion, greater than learning and
praying, consists in accepting the world exactly as it happens to
be." (Rabbi Moshe).
I enjoy this quote because it emphasizes the many teachings of the
great avatars of our past. In my lessons I teach individuals
how to set and achieve goals. First off we cannot even try to
achieve a goal until we start to appreciate the beauty of the world
around us. This is important because we need to be grateful
for all that we have in order for us to receive more. Every
morning when I wake up I make sure that I think and realize and feel
about all the things I am grateful for. In my gain book (the
book with my goals and gain of the day) I write down what I have
gained from the day or what I am grateful for at the end of the day.
This is a healthy practice because every thought that we have is
truly a prayer and every action that we have is also a prayer.
I found great meaning in this quote because I know that when we
accept things as they are in the present we are truly happy.
Now, we have to realize that sadness and happiness go hand and hand
with each other. With a cup of happiness is a drop of sadness
and with a cup of sadness there is a drop of happiness.
Focusing on what is happiness and being happy is something that is
truly important in life. For many of you who have come to this
web site in searches of how to lose weight or gain more energy, I
would like to tell you that one of the key solutions to your problem
is to appreciate and acknowledge what you have. This may be
that you have the capacity or eyes read this, or it may be one loved
one in your life, or maybe just the fact that you are living.
As soon as you recognize this, more positive will occur and you will
achieve your goal. With gratefulness one can truly achieve
ones goals. I truly believe that you can make a difference
with whatever you goal is. I hope you have a great day filled
with things to be grateful for.

Greetings all, my apologies for not posting sooner. I have
been moving apartments and have a new work out space in my home in
the Richmond district of San Francisco. My "At Home Sessions"
will now be held here. It isn't much now, but it will develop
into a fine workout studio and office for private consultations.
I am currently working on my book for guidance for organic living
and organic lifestyle in San Francisco and surrounding areas.
I will include in this book references for organic food and easy
instructions to keep yourself healthy. Stay tuned for the book
in which I plan to publish by February 2007 it is called I Heart
Organic: San Francisco. So far I have finished two
chapters and am always working on new restaurants, natural food
stores, and coffee shops to include into the book. Please
email me if you have any suggestions. I am very interested to
hear them.

This
has been an exciting month for me as I have gone to Massachusetts to
visit Glenn Brooks. Glenn and I were on his radio show called
Vibrant Living on Public Radio (recording coming soon!).
My visit was good and I was able to give Glenn his very first
program and I will be working with him on his nutrition program
shortly. Stay tuned for Glenn Brook's feedback on my
individualized program that I have created for Glenn.
