Who Is Harry Yuan?

Harry Yuan has had experience and education in the health and
fitness world for nearly nine years. As a fitness
professional, Harry started his career in exercise and holistic
health in 2003. The fundamentals of his experience started in
1997, when he went to St. Catherine’s Military School. At
this school, Harry was taught organization, discipline, and
leadership amongst basic fitness. This is where Harry’s career
in fitness originated. He was so successful and proficient in
military school that he was promoted to Commanding Officer the
following year. In 1999, Harry extended his military education
at New Mexico Military Institute. This was where he began his
basic athletic training for sports and fitness. Participating
in a vast number of sports, Harry found himself training in the
weight room to better his optimal proficiency. In 2003, Harry
received his first certification with the National Academy of Sports
Medicine (NASM). He later continued to work with NASM and
received their Sports Fitness Specialist Certification.
2004 was a remarkable year for Harry because he discovered the CHEK
Institute, where he studied and learned the principles developed by
Paul Chek. In developing his knowledge, Harry became much more
involved with Paul’s Nutrition Lifestyle Coach (NLC) program, in
which he is now an NLC Level 3 – the highest level of NLC.
Harry furthered his studies in exercise through the CHEK Institute
by completing certifications such as Scientific Back Conditioning,
Scientific Core Conditioning, Program Design, Swiss Ball Training
for Athletes, and Swiss Ball Training for Rehabilitation. He
has also achieved the level of Exercise Coach in Paul’s
Corrective Holistic Exercise Kinesiology program. After
working with clients in fitness gyms and coaching individuals to
achieve aesthetic wellbeing, Harry has evolved his practice to not
only helping people look good but feel better as well. He now
works as a freelance trainer teaching nutrition, lifestyle, and
exercise with a holistic approach. In his philosophy, Harry
helps individuals from the inside out, guiding them toward optimal
health by going to the root of the problem. Today, he is
helping individuals in preventative health because he believes that
sick care is not health care.
